🎸 Metallica to Shred the Hamptons in Rare 250-Cap Club Show

Get ready, Long Island, Metallica is about to blow the roof off a beachside bar!

In a move that’s got metalheads buzzing coast to coast, Metallica will ditch the stadiums for a one-off, ultra-intimate show at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett on Thursday, August 28. With only 250 lucky fans allowed inside, this is as close as most will ever get to a private jam session with the gods of thrash.

Lars Ulrich dropped the news during a Wednesday sit-down on The Howard Stern Show, revealing that the surprise gig is in celebration of their brand-new SiriusXM channel, “Maximum Metallica,” which officially launches the next day on Channel 42 and the SiriusXM app.

But don’t let the cozy setting fool you, Ulrich made it crystal clear: this is no mellow acoustic set. Metallica is coming in loud and electric, ready to melt faces before sunset to keep the Hamptons’ noise complaints at bay.

If you can’t make the show, don’t sweat it, a full recording will premiere September 1st on the new channel. Just don’t expect the same goosebumps as the 250 die-hards who’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with James, Lars, Kirk, and Rob when the first riff drops.
