The rockabilly legends are back and louder than ever.
After nearly a year off the road and a health scare that threatened his ability to play, Brian Setzer is strapping on the Gretsch once again. The Stray Cats just announced a full slate of 2025 fall tour dates, and fans are revved up for the return of that unmistakable high-octane sound.

The monthlong indoor tour kicks off October 25 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and tears across more than 20 cities before wrapping November 23 in Wheatland, California. Along the way, the trio will hit hotspots like Louisville, Cincinnati, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, bringing their signature swagger to theaters tailor-made for that vintage, turn-it-up-to-eleven rockabilly roar.
“What blows me away every time is how this music still connects decades later, it’s just as raw, just as real,” Setzer said in the tour announcement. And bassist Lee Rocker added, “There’s nothing like the sound we make when the three of us hit the stage, it’s loud and proud.”
But the biggest news? Setzer’s return. Back in February, the guitarist revealed he was battling an autoimmune disease that left his hands cramping and numb. “It felt like I was wearing gloves while trying to play,” he wrote. With time, treatment at Mayo Clinic, and sheer determination, he’s making a remarkable comeback—and fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
Drummer Slim Jim Phantom put it best: “The Cats are back for a very special indoor tour… and one thing I can guarantee 100% — we’re gonna tear it up.”
